Concrete Jungle Strikes Again – Tales from Push Culture NYC

Our roots connect us deeply to the NYC skate scene. Check out a recent behind the lens story as told by Khaleeq about a recent mobbing mission with the crew:

“During a recent filming mission on one of the busiest avenues in New York City, our crew approached a recently illuminated red light and began the usual blending with traffic as they began to slow the pace to check the status of the intersection. Bustin team rider Leon used this time to pick his line through the flood of pedestrians bawling up the crosswalk directly in front of us. After committing to his calculations, Leon was forced to abandon his shred ship as he found himself directly adjacent to a fast paced SUV that popped out of no where. Though he sustained only a slight bruise, his Sportster skateboard was completely submerged beneath the tire of the metal monster which proceeded to drag the complete set up a solid six feet before coming to an abrupt halt. Despite the massive weight of its accidental rider, the board was perfectly fine other than his front left Five-0 Sniper dumping a nice chalky thane line that would make even Toti jealous,  which ultimately resulted in a pretty hefty chip on the wheels lip. Despite this, Leon and the crew were able to retrieve their wayward board and continue pushing with no negative impact on performance thanks to the top quality equipment under their feet.”
