Green Skate 09

So I am slammed here at the loft trying to crank out the tons of orders we are taking as spring gets into full swing. I have neglected the event planning but I am back and we are rolling for GreenSkate.org. For those of you that participated last year, hope to see you out there again. For those first timers, this is a way to show the world that longboarding is a green mode of transpo, and and excuse to get groups from around the globe to skate all at one time.
The skate will be 25 April through Central Park. This way, all levels of riders get in a push and for those that are planning on skating the Central Park Race, you can get in a true practice run with some real competitors. We will meet at Columbus Circle (TBD) and then push the loop. Take your time or push, it doesnt matter, just come out for the first event of many in NYC this season. I hope you are as stoked as we are here.
After the loop, we will roll where the wind blows, maybe a little Broadway preview so bring your helmets ?? who knows, lets play it by ear. Watch the blog for an update on the timing of everything and we will see you out there. Cheers.

Hell yeah.. My Bustin Strike comes in the mail today.. just in time.. “Central Park Streaking! We’re going to the Quad through the Gymnasium! Come on! Everybody’s Doin it!”
