Board Meeting 10/22/09

Great session with a crew of New York’s finest this afternoon. Skate started at 1p @ Columbus Circle below Central park. When the internet aliens allow me to post photos you will see how nice of a day we were blessed with for a skate through the city. Carved Series filmaker Sergi captured some gnarly footage of some close calls. Fortunately most everyone rocked a helmet or some sort of head protection. The gang skated follow-the-leader style through Central Park’s inner path systems. Some good lines and crowded pavement fueled everyone’s stoke and we even heard cheers! A quick visit to Adam Crigler’s pad then off to the deli’s. Quick snack through traffic down 2nd Ave to 14th st Union Square. Crazy police presence today! Possibly every special and bomb unit in NYC were patrolling everywhere! We skated right though the sea of flashing lights and the officers just watched us dance through the matrix of police vehicles.
