Adrenalina Longboard Skateboard Marathon – 26.2 Mile Push Race

written by Mike October 29, 2010

November 6, 2010 is the Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon of Hallandale Beach, Florida. The first $10,000 prize skateboard race in the history that I am aware of. The race will crown the fastest Push Culture skateboarder to date. No other race has fronted such a cash prize and the competition roster is deep with longskaters famous for top finshes at push races around the world. The Marathon skateboard record is owned by a dude named Matt Elver from the UK. Dude has placed well in a lot of events but never has competed in New York, that I am aware of. Another top competitor is Paul Kent who is notorious for awesome long trek skates around North and South America and beyond. These dudes are the most hyped competitors going into the marathon event. Elver and Kent are known for Ultra Skate accomplishments, cross country skate travel and are well respected by industry push culture skate leaders. Hats off to both Matt and Paul for their skate accomplishments.
New York is a relatively new scene to the longboard industry. The Broadway Bomb celebrated it’s 10th annual race this year but the compeition level has only recently achieved global recognition. The accomplishments of out Bustin riders are huge but will be put to the test November 6th on Hollandale Beach.

The Adrenalina Longboard bSkateboard Marathon will judge the competition. Stay tuned to the Bustin Blog for the most up to date information on this extraordinary event.

Hey when is the bustin crew arriving and leaving? Any skate sessions after the marathon? like a sunday shred in FL?

Jeff October 30, 2010 at 3:53 pm

Good idea. We should plan something while we’re down there. We’re planning on leaving Sunday to get back to NYC but we got lots of skating to do before we leave.
