I would first like to thank the people that came out to support the Boarding 4 Breast Cancer (B4BC) Booth at the Rail Jams this past week. Blair (pic below) of B4BC did an outstanding job of organizing the booth and actively spreading a message that is sometimes lost to female youth. She worked all weekend to get this thing rolling and even in nasty weather in Central Park, she pulled it off without a hitch. If you didnt get a chance to meet Blair, she is a go-getting young woman whose love for helping people is expressed in every word she breathes. Its hard to find genuine people in this life, but I assure you Blair’s conviction makes her one of the few. She supports a noble cause and we would like to thank her for letting us be a part of this nonprofit organization.
The donated board, pictured below, received rave reviews and generated almost $150 for B4BC. It is a one-of-a-kind, but we are considering a spinoff for October 2008 with portions of the proceeds going straight to B4BC. We are not the only ones involved in this org. Every major board sport company has designed special gear that is for sale on the website. They have everything from snow goggles from Anon to Tshirts by Volcom. The gear is sick, so grab it up and you too can be a part of this organization.
If you havent checked out the organization, here are some places you can find them in 2008. Just look for the black and pink tent. you cant miss it.
