This was a BIG weekend for skateboarding. Bustin Team Riders are positioned all over the globe participating in skate events. This weekend was heavy with three major events happening – San Diego’s Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon , Broadway Bomb NYC & Soldiers of Downhill race in Bainbridge, Ohio. Bustin Team Riders Andrei Hippix and Team Rider Kiefer Dixon, both members of NYC’s exclusive skate club “A-Team Longboarding” edged out the competition at the bi-coastal Push Race events. Hippix left New York City 3 months ago on a skateboard, headed to the Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon in San Diego scheduled for October 20th. Hippix successfully skateboarded unassisted from NYC to San Diego then achieved his goal of participating in the 26 mile race to finish in 1st PLACE! MAD RESPECT!
Kiefer Dixon accomplished another incredible feat by finishing 1st at the un-official Broadway Bomb event in New York City. With police assistance, 2000 longboarders were able to navigate through New York City from West 116th st to The Charging Bull statue in the Financial District Downtown Manhattan. This is a Hat Trick WIN for Kiefer, solidifying his position as New York City’s fastest skateboarder. Kiefer also set the World Record in the Blue Sky 1 Mile Skate Challenge, edging out some super heavy competition. Team Bustin had an incredible presence this weekend, look forward to a detailed report from each up them on they’re take on an incredible skatecation weekend. RESPECT!
