(yeah, this guy probably doesn’t skate but we’re stoked to be in the NY Times nonetheless)
Bustin Boards was featured in a recent article in the New York Times about customization. Though we don’t take credit for the buff, half-naked model holding our board, we are proud and excited about being featured in such a large publication. Most likely Johnny Depp, a small star some of you may know, was responsible for our inclusion in the article (for those of you who don’t know and don’t read the article, he has purchased 3 custom boards from us over the years and no, we haven’t actually met him in person or skated with him on his private island). What we can tell you is that he loves the Trainyard graphic on the Spliff and Complex boards and apparently longboards often on sets.
With that, this is most likely the only “OMG, its a celebrity” article you’ll read on our blog. We appreciate all of our customers alike and just wanted to give a shout about our Times article (kind of a big deal as a small business).
