Calling All Skaters!!!

written by TeamBustin November 16, 2010

Solomon here. Still working on updating everyone over what’s been going on for me the past few months but I’ve decided to save that for my end-of-year review. The Year of the Longboard. Stay tuned.

For now I have more important matters to discuss. It is now the holiday season which also coincides with some of the most unforgiving weather this side of the country. Combine this with the current state of the economy and I am undoubtedly sure that this is going to be a very difficult time for lots of families. I find myself very fortunate to be able to not have to worry about food, clothing and shelter… thanks to all of you for that!

Time to give back!!!! The Concrete Kings will be hosting their second annual holiday food, toy and clothing drive. Say word… We will be teaming up with the good folks here at Bustin Boards to help show our appreciation for the love and support the community has given us. Starting on 11/17 you will be able to stop by the Longboard Loft on 340 Grand St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and drop off whatever you would like to donate. Please don’t push this off until the last moment… We would like to be able to help out families all throughout the holiday season but we can’t do it without your support…

Wondering exactly where the food and clothes are going? I’ll let you help me decide. Do you know of any local NYC families that could direly use some holiday help? If not we’ll be sending all goods to local shelters and churches. Contact me at concretekingsnyc@gmail.com

Skate…don’t hate!
