New York City, The Fashion Institute of NYC and Bustin Boards brought home a 3rd place finish at the NJCAA Regional Swim Finals this weekend in Rochester, NY. The Fashion Instutute is a innagural season swim squad that remains undefeated in dual meet format. This is the third, 3rd place Invitational finish the team has achieved to date. The team swam extraordinary well and achieved numerous National Qualifying swim times. Shaving critical seconds in tight races, the team gained advantage scoring higher than 8 teams. Two notable finishes are Diver Kaitlyn Egan who took home a bronze medal and Fly’er Hannelore Schaffner who dominated the pool capturing a Gold in the 100 Butterfly. Everyone earned points and the team enjoyed an incredible innagural Regional/Districts weekend. FIT captured 3rd place and Manhattan City College followed with a respectable 4th place finish.

The Crew at Bustin Boards sends a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the FIT Swim Team because we care for our swimmers as much as our riders! We’re proud of you, FIS4L!
