First Day of Operations on the Shop Side

written by Ryan November 18, 2009

As most of you know, our new flagship store location in Brooklyn is also where we’ll be housing the assembly and shipping operations for the website sales. The idea is to give our retail customers a glimpse into the shop side of things and interact with the crew who assembles and ships all the longboards sold on our website.  When your in the shop, you can look through a Plexiglas wall and see a rainbow of custom boards we are shipping out that day.

Though we opened up the retail side of the Bustin Store last weekend, today was the first day of operations on the shop side.  Here is another brief picture tour showing the guys at work taking pride in putting together the custom longboards sold on our online store, www.bustinboards.com.

Customers on the retail side can see through the glass to the rainbow array of custom boards that are shipping out on any given day.  The coolest part of visiting the shop is seeing the wide array of one-of-a-kind longboards that are designed by our customers.

The shop is much more organized than the last.  The crew now has nice work benches and all the inventory at their fingertips.  Abec11, Retro, Pink, Orangatang, Earthwing, Randal, Paris, Crail, Independent, Seismic, Bones…. the list goes on and on and the shop looks like a candy store of skateboard products.
