Howdy friends from NYC and beyond! 2012 was a crazy year, and we hope you rested up over the break, because the future is looking wilder than ever! We’ve been tweaking the website, and playing with paint, and we are please to introduce to all of our loyal fans and new boarders the brand new FULL DIP CUSTOMIZATION process! This means that all you folks who have been jonesin’ for a candy coated board can finally have your wish granted. All of our boards are now available for full dip in all of our custom colors! And, to support this new feature and get you guys playing with the new options, we’re running… you guessed it… ANOTHER DESIGN CONTEST!
This time we’ve got two opportunities for you to win the contest and bring your design to life. Scope the deets for instructions on entering and winning!
1) Design a Full Dip Custom board on our online editor & save a screenshot of your design.
2) Post your entry to Facebook AND/OR Instagram (thats right, 2 chances to win!) following the guidelines below.
a) For facebook entries, be sure to tag our fan page @Bustin Boards Custom Longboards and MAKE SURE THE POST IS PUBLIC so we can see it!
b) For instagram entries, tag our instagram page @bustinboards, AND use the hashtags #bustinboards and #fulldipcustom, DON’T FORGET THE TAGS BECAUSE THAT’S HOW WE’LL TRACK YOUR LIKES!
3) Share your posts with as many people as you like to try and accrue the most LIKES to your original photo.
4) On February 1st, 2013 we’ll find the Facebook post AND the Instagram picture with the most LIKES and hook those two lucky/artistic/friendly winners up with brand new, full dip custom board with the design they posted.
So get it in and get creative! And tell your friends! Thanks for playing, and shred on!
We’ve heard some concerns that these contests are biased by those who have TONS of friends or followers on FB / Instagram. For this reason we will be adding a 3rd winner, completely chosen by our discretion. We’ll look through each and every entry and pick our very favorite to win a custom deck as well. So don’t be discouraged! Get Creative!
