New Color Options on the Build-A-Board pages

written by Ryan May 19, 2010

Just wanted to let everyone we added a few new color options to the Build-A-Board program.  Its not a huge deal, but a few of you have been asking for these changes and we finally got around to it.  Here are the updates:

1.  We added the flourescent yellow/green that everyone has been loving on our prototypes.  It is number 82 and shows up at the very end of the color array on the build program.  Originally I created this color to denote a ‘prototype’ from the regular boards and everyone loved the color (that’s not to say everyone loved all the prototypes – the ‘strigar’ is hot I don’t care what anyone says… okay maybe its not, thats why we prototype).

2.  We brought back the White (#18) and Off-White (#20) for the Solid and Stain options on all boards.  We originally offered them this way, but had to move away from it when we switched to a lacquer that gave off a yellowish tint.  We have since switched to a super-awesome, water-based, flat-finish lacquer that does not yellow and looks awesome on every color.  Big f’ing deal right.  Nonetheless, its a cool option and lots of peeps have been asking why we won’t do solid white designs.  Now we do.

That is it for color changes, just thought I’d let everyone know.  Cheers

PS.  Got a color you like that we don’t offer?  Holla back.

Very nice. I’m still yet to see a Bustin Board in Cali…maybe I need to be the one to introduce it. White and yellow…hmmm. 🙂
