Rat Rod Crew at Tompkins Square Park

written by Mike January 6, 2009

The official Tompkins Square Park races began this weekend.  A record breaking four participants were present for the time trials.  The race is two laps, head to head, around Tompkins Square Park’s winding paths. The time to beat is 2mins 17 secs posted by yours truely.  More will be posted soon along with pictures and a schedule of challenge days.  If you you think you have what it takes to drag against the fastest in the city, leave a comment and we will send you the appropriate information.  See you out there.

Hey, I’ve ridden with the Bustin crew in NJ last summer and around willies burg later that summer. Does the race require much sliding to manage the hills? Its something I’m braking into but definitely not up for doing it in competition. Despite this, I would love to rock down the trail and foot brake through the competition. Let me know if theres space. THanks guys, keep up the kick ass events and awesome site.
