Sweet treats headed to Hershey, PA presented by Bustin Longboards NYC

Solomon here. Well April is holding up to its reputation and the skies have been leaking all month. And even though the Greenskate has been postponed until next Saturday 4/30 I am still stoked about the warm temperatures coming and the new faces I’ll get to skate with. A great place to meet these new faces is at the new meetup location for the Concrete Kings, the Central Park Naumburg Bandshell. Throughout the Spring/Summer we will be meeting here on Sundays and pretty much all days when the weather permits at 1 and go until well after our legs beg us to stop. Some of us will stay in that area and work on tricking and flatland slides and some will take off and skate the loop or shred some traffic. All you have to do is show up and I’ll guarantee you’ll run into someone to skate with and will get no slack from the cops. Say word….Thanks Jeff.

So back to those sweet treats headed to Hershey and some new faces to longboarding. Tome Cronin(17) and Liam Hulse(16) have both been skating for a short six months, kudos to them I say since this means they started during the Winter when most were on a hiatus. There are tons of hills in Pennsylvania and these guys were looking for something to reflect their style, bombing and sliding. These two heard about Bustin’s Longboard Loft online and already knew they wanted the Ibach when they stepped into our longboard heaven. Two Ibachs with two fun setups, we couldn’t figure which we liked more. Which would you prefer? 50 degree Caliber trucks with Bones Reds bearings and 81a Flashbacks or Paris 180’s also with Bones Reds but with 83a Stimulus wheels? Either way they both left super stoked and were ready to head back and skate their favorite local spot….Miller Hershey School. Welcome to the family dudes! Stay Skatin’

I’m running Durian 83a on 181 Bears… runs like a dream… was surprised how manoeuvrable it is for a big board… a sweet ride!
