The Miami Longboard Crew hosted the 2nd Annual South Beach Bomb on South Beach in Miami. The South Beach Bomb longboard push race is an outlaw checkpoint style race through traffic. There were an estimated 60 skaters at the start though the start and everybody was stoked, naturally. Though I was completing Christmas orders at Bustin’s Longboard Loft this weekend I did receive a few texts from the Bustin Crew in Miami. Sounds like the Bustin boys took 1st and 2nd place though rumors suggest our boy Crig held a tasteful skitch. I wasn’t there so I don’t know. Skitching (to hold onto a vehicle for any distance) is a well debated topic that has raised concern at outlaw longboard push races for almost a decade. The final results of the South Beach Bomb will be announced soon. Until then, my prediction:
1st Outlaw Finisher – Adam Crigler (Bustin Boards)
1st Place Judges Decision – Solomon Lang (Bustin Boards)
