This board is just too tough for words – http://www.bustinboards.com/v/bustin_strike_longboard_details.asp
Today I decided to layer up and go for some wonderful winter traffic surfing. I had lost my wedding ring at the airport last week (yeah this is why I refused to spend alot of money on that thing in the first place, bu-ya) and had to go to St. Mark’s to pick up the new one… perfect excuse for a Sunday afternoon skate. I bundled up and ended up longboarding around Manhattan for most of the day on my ol’ faithful Maestro (7-ply, I love that flex!). While I was down near Houston Street I saw someone ripping on a fresh Black Dip Strike and was amazed at how stealthy that thing looked flying down the road. I’m not kidding, every bystander and person walking down the street just about broke their neck checking out this board as the dude flew by.
It reminded me how sick our current Limited Edition Strike longboard is and I thought I’d share. We just got in a fresh stack of the Black Dip Strike limited edition longboards and currently have a super sick setup available for our Quick Ship longboard program. The Randal RII trucks are perfect for this board and the 75mm Boca wheels rip for all types of riding. If your torn between models and setups and not sure what to get as either a gift or a new board for yourself, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS BOARD. The Black Dip graphic is easily one of the slickest boards we’ve done and everyone who sees this board falls in love instantly. Its like a magnet to people who come into our Brooklyn store, they v-line straight to this board.
Morals of the story. (1) Coldness is no excuse to slow your skating, I had an amazing day on the streets and (2) If your looking for an awesome gift for the special longboarder in your life, check this out – http://www.bustinboards.com/v/bustin_strike_longboard_details.asp.
